Marilu Burch Smallwood, 1966 Hardcover Signed by Author
Two-volume set bound in textured red cloth; volume one published 1966 and signed by author and inscribed to previous owner, with volume two published in 1974. Cover colors do not quite match. Volume one covers show light to moderate wear, including scratches, rubbing, wear at corner points. Hinges sound, uncracked, but volume is slightly shaken. Dampstain on lower corner of rear pastedown extends to about 50 pages at the rear. Upper textblock edge moderately spotted/stained, with lighter staining on other edges. Volume one condition is G+; no DJ. Volume two, published in 1974, is brighter, with light, mild cover edgewear; hinges sound, uncracked; pages tight, clean. Overall volume two condition is very good. Spine lettering on both volumes remains bright. Neither book has a DJ. No illustrations or index in either volume. Not a former library set. ;
