Various. AIRCRAFT YEAR BOOK: 1926. Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce of America, 1926 Hardcover P/NONE Hardback 1926 edition that may be from the library of Prof. Emmett C. Kauffman, professor of physics, University of Delaware, whose name and the notes Camp Holobird, Maryland, Army Service Plane, and one other line (unreadable) in ink on front cover. Covers very worn. Many, many clippings glued to endpapers and to interior pages themselves, along with laid-in material--all connected with aircraft. This is a quite messy affair, with loose clippings, rusty paperclips, Scotch tape, at least two pages with long tears repaired with tape, etc. , (and perhaps worse) , but it demonstrates a deep interest by previous owner in the subject of aircraft. Armour & Co. , 1901 Non-Book G+/NONE Six-page 1902 Armour & Company, Chicago, calendar tied at top with red ribbon (ribbon not original) and rendered by various artists. All are in color but for the Christy illustration. From a magazine advertising the sale of the calendar: Consists of six sheets (10x15 inches) showing the "Christy" girl [Howard Chandler Christy], the "Smedley" girl [W. T. Smedley], the "Wenzell" girl [A. B. Wenzell], the "Hutt" girl [Henry Hutt], the "Sterner" girl [Albert Sterner] and the "Keller" girl [A. Keller], reproduced from original designs made expressly for Armour & Company. All requests for this beautiful calendar will be attended to in the order received. Mailed postpaid to any address on receipt of 25 cents in stamps or coin, or metal cap from jar of Armour's Extract of Beef. Printed by American 3-Color Co. , Chicago & New York.
